It's Snowing! And everyone needs mittens when it's snowing. This is another quick and super easy card thanks to the Big Shot and Embossing Folders and stamps with coordinating punches. I just love that Stampin'Up works hard to make card making quick & easy!
To start, take the Whisper White Card Stock and run it through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurries Embossing Folder. The mittens were stamped on a scrap piece of card stock with Gumball Green and punched out with the Mitten Punch Builder available from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The String is the new Sweater Trim from the Holiday Mini too. It comes in Chery Cobbler, Gumball Green & Whisper White. My mittens, when I was little, were always attached to my coat with a crocheted yarn running up through my sleeves so I wouldn't lose them. The saying was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink and layered on a piece of gumball green before being attached to the embossed Whisper White Card Stock.
The sweater trim was attached using glue dots. And we used dimensionals to attach the mittens. Because the sweater trim is bulky we stacked the dimensionals 2 high at the yarn end to match the trim.
Go make some snowballs today and enjoy the first real snowfall of the season.
Happy Stamping!
