Question: How do you create a square card when the tools are rectangle?
Answer: Here is a good example of using tools in a different way to create the results you want. Starting with the background, we used Crumb Cake Card Stock with Crumb Cake Classic Ink with the En Francais background stamp. However, that stamp is too small to cover the entire background. So, to overcome this, stamp half of the Crumb Cake Card Stock, re-ink the stamp and them stamp the other half.
You then take the Chocolate Chip Card Stock and cut it out with the largest framelit from the Floral Frames Framelits Die. Then you run that through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Since the folder is smaller than the Framelit, you will need to run this through the Big Shot twice – once on each half to emboss the whole item.
We used the Daydream Medallion Stamp Set on a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock, then cut that out with a smaller sized Floral Frames Framelit Die to get the step down look.
The saying from Pursuit of Happiness was stamped using Chocolate Chip Classic Ink and cut out with the 2 1/2" circle punch. Don't forget to ink those edges.
Adhere all the parts together. Add the embellishment in the corners with the Tiny Tags stamp set. Don't forget the inside corner too.
