For this card we used Daydream Medallions Stamp Set & Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set. The card base is Early Espresso Card Stock with Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper 126917 as the Step Down. We used First Edition Designer Series Paper (retired… Have you purchased YOUR favorite items before they are gone? Click here to see what products are retiring!) as a nice accent.
The Medallion in the middle is made with the Daydreams Medallion Stamp Set. We stamped the largest one in Early Espresso Classic Ink. The next layer we stamped with Raspberry Ripple Classic Ink. The next layer was again stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink. To finish it up, we used Designer Buttons – Neutrals Collection (119743). Actually we were able to use 3 or 4 different buttons in various colors. Each button seemed to pick up highlights from different areas of the cards. (These buttons are also retiring… they are STILL available while supplies last!). Remember to add that small piece of linen thread in the button. If you don't, they will notice!
The greeting was stamped on Very Vanilla Cardstock using the Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set. You could easily change the saying to create that perfect card for your needs from birthday to get well and everything in between.
We did use the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on the piece of Early Espresso Cardstock that goes down the right hand side. We used the dotted scalloped ribbon border punch on the Raspberry Ripple cardstock strip that goes along the bottom of First Edition DSP. The edges of the flower are turned up using a bone folder which just gives it a bit more depth.
The fun part of this card is the Floral Frames Framelits Dies (127012) which coordinates perfectly with the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set. It makes cutting out the flower pieces so easy.
And don't forget to sponge those edges!
We hope you really enjoyed this card because each of you are a very special blessing in our lives!
