With the arrival of SNOW!!! (Finally – at least according to Cheryl!), our thoughts really turn towards the Christmas Season. Christmas shopping for the big ticket items is winding down and our thoughts turn to the smaller, heartfelt gifts for all those important people in our lifes. Those individuals that make our days brighter. Like the UPS man who makes sure to leave your packages under the overhang so they don't get wet. Or your hair dresser, who remembers to ask about your family. Your children's school teachers who work tirelessly teaching your kids… The list goes on and on.
This week, we will be featuring quick & easy last minute gifts that you will be proud to give to these important people in your life.
This super quick & easy glitter ornament is a snap to whip together. It is so easy it hardly counts as a project but looks wonderful, and full of Chrismas Cheer.
1. First, cut out two matching ornament shapes. If you are really careful, you can line up the shapes side by side to maximize your use of the glitter paper.
2. Sandwich the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine in between the two shapes. Use regular adhesive and a glue dot to hold the twine.
3. Next, punch out the 1 1/4" scallop circles using the new punch and the Champange Glitter Paper from the Holiday Mini. Use Green Glue to adhere the scallop circle to the red glitter ormanment. Just a hint here – we have found that when addding something to glitter paper, the Green Glue works best, but it does take a minute to dry.
4. Stamp the ornament circle using Gumball Green Ink and the circle stamp from Ornament Keepsakes. Punch it our with a 1" circle punch. Ad a large pearl and a bow using Gumball Green Ribbon
And you have a fast, quick, awesome ornament to decorate a tree, slip into a Christmas card, or leave on a friend's desk.
Check back all week for more quick & easy gift projects!
