This card is another Stamp-a-Stack card and it uses my favorite new Stamp set – Chalk Talk! It is on page 12 of the catalog and it comes as a bundle too. You can get the chalk talk stamp set with the coordinating framelits and save 15% too!
Funny story – when I first got it, I was so excited and I was making some tags for somebody's 60th Birthday. And I used the stamp that says, "Just a little something for a very special someone." And I stamped it and I cut it out by hand and I was moaning a little bit about all the cutting by hand and Wendy asked "Well, why did you not use the framelit that comes with it?" Oh! Great! Now she tells me!
Well, live and learn and so I NOW make sure everyone knows about the awesome bundle!
I just love the set. I love the sayings and I really love that it comes as a bundle! This is another must get set. I just absolutely love it!
We used the Calypso Coral Cardstock and Classic Ink. And if you look closely, you can see there is a piece of Calypso Coral round as a border around the for you that was stamped in the Calypso Coral Classic Ink and then it was punched out using the 1 3/8" circle punch. You can also see where I put pearls on it.
We used the framelits that came with the bundle and we used the Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffled Stretch Ribbon. Do you love the Ribbon? Make sure to take advantage of our Ribbon Share. You can get 2 yards of each of the 5 colors of this ribbon for only $11. That's plenty of the Baked Brown Sugar Ribbon to create 10-15 cards depending on how much you use.
We used red liner tape to adhere the ribbon to the card. We put the red liner tape right on the ribbon and stuck it down. Remember to tuck the ends in so you can't see them.
The embossing folder we used was Beautiful Baroque.
