This Frightening card is made with the single stamp Frightening Feline (128105). The cat is wet embossed with the new Tangerine Tango embossing powder (page 159 of the Idea Book & Catalog) AND dry embossed with the Spider Web Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.
The Striped Paper is from the new Holiday Mini as well. It's called Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper (126906). The words "Happy Halloween" is from Delightful Dozen. The Happy Halloween is also embossed with Tangerine Tango embossing powder.
How we assembled this card:
- Wet emboss the cat and the words on Whisper White Card Stock. We then sponged the edges with Basic Grey ink. Then attach both the cat and the words to Basic Black Card Stock for a border.
- We attached the DSP to a black card stock base. Then attached the cat to the DSP. Then, we ran that through the Big Shot using the Spider Web embossing Folder.
- We then attached with words to the DSP. One end had dimensionals and the other end didn't.
- The inside touch was a small stamp from spooky bingo bits to the Whisper White cardstock we always put inside the card. It's always nice to add that extra special touch to your cards.
Since you only get 2 each of the 6 different double sided designs in a package of DSP, try different combinations if you need to create multiple cards. I think this one turns out really cute too… And slightly less halloweeny.
Happy Stamping!
